The electric heater was a lifesaver was good.
There were some notable hiccups. The bathroom door didn't close properly, made things a little awkward. The toilet struggled to flush efficiently, and the washbasin had a large, poorly repaired crack that caught my eye. Accessing the top floor involved navigating through a few fire doors, which could use clearer signage to make it easier . These issues were manageable but required an extra bit of patience to overcome.

I had a neat and cheap room with crockery, private bathroom and comfy beds. The location was magnificent, for example, Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways was within walking distance of the hotel.

Got delicious breakfasts with porridge and tea/ coffee, as for instance. It was in a stunning location so close to centre of town, and Porthmadoc railway station.

The setting of hotel was particularly good, in the pub next door. Again, the venue was 20 minutes by car from Lone Star Flight Museum. The room was good-sized and modern with a nice bathroom. The bed was big, my stay lasted for 2 nights.

Porthmadog vibes 🌄
Room was nice and spacious, lovin' the tea and porridge setup. Chilled vibes just off the main street, super accessible to brekkie spots!
Only bummer was the road noise, especially if you open the window.

Nice big room, but the bed was too soft for my taste.

missingWrote a review on 07 Octdilapidated condition
Prevalent damp smells and visible mould in the shower detract from the experience. The bedding situation was odd, as the large bed was made of two joined mattresses. Confusing breakfast arrangements left us puzzled with wrapped cutlery and bowls without much clarity on how it all worked.

Spacious rooms and fine views
The space felt generous with a comfy setup for my luggage, and I appreciated the ample tea and coffee options. It's located just a short walk from the town and nearby Tesco. One thing to note is that the room got a bit warm at night, so some air conditioning would be a great addition.
